Latest partnership is launched with one of the leading specialist providers of high value insurance in the UK
H&L offers worldwide real-time flight disruption solution for travellers
Cork, Ireland – 19th March 2021 Irish Insurtech Blink Parametric announces its latest partnership with Home & Legacy incorporating Blink flight disruption insurance services into its Worldwide Multi-Trip Travel Insurance products. Home & Legacy Insurance Services Ltd is an autonomous subsidiary of the Allianz Group, which operates as a wholesale broker serving more than 2,000 live agencies.
Blink and H&L, a specialist in high net worth insurance in the UK offers the bespoke travel disruption solution to its clients as standard within its travel insurance products.
Paul Prendergast, CEO and Co-founder of Blink spoke of the partnership to say: “This is an exciting start to 2021 for us. We are truly looking to the future of travel and are proud to be partnering with H&L on their latest customer experience initiative. H&L are expert in creating tailored insurance products wrapped in incredible customer service for customers with busy lifestyles and we have worked hand in hand to deliver a superior experience that both befits their brand and matches our own standards of service delivery.”
Blink offers an innovative data driven travel disruption solution. Once a traveller registers their flight details, Blink monitors that flight in real-time. A delay or cancellation that occurs to the registered flight automatically results in a traveller being notified. Real-time event notification allows for real-time problem resolution! H&L’s customers and their families will now be offered airport lounge access to any of Blink’s 1,400 executive airport lounges worldwide if a flight is delayed by 2 hours or more. The cover will support an unlimited number of trips for H&L customers and the service support will last for the duration of the H&L travel insurance policy.
Speaking of the partnership, Adrian Ewington, Underwriting and Markets Director Home & Legacy,
“We are all hoping to see a return to travel for business and for pleasure as soon as it is safely possible. At Home & Legacy, we recognise our role in supporting our client needs within a recovering travel environment. Our new lounge pass feature uses real-time automated technology that delivers a first-rate customer experience instantly.”
