With lots of companies making so much noise about the latest and greatest tech trends they’re taking to market, it’s difficult to know what innovation actually is and what is just perhaps a bit of lip service.

In this informal discussion, we talk to industry experts to cut through the buzzwords and get to the real deal of innovation; what it actually is and how businesses do it successfully. You’ll take away ideas and inspiration for getting businesses on board with your ideas and gain an understanding of what kind of innovation there’s a demand for. There’ll also be an opportunity to ask questions so if you have any innovative ideas yourself, you’ll have the chance to put it to the experts.

We’re excited to be joined by Paul Prendergast and Nigel Walsh for this event.

Paul Prendergast is co –founder and CEO of Blink Innovation Ltd which has produced the world’s first real-time flight cancellation insurance product. A serial entrepreneur, Paul has started a number of companies over the past 20 years. He has won a number of awards in Ireland where Blink is based and in 2014 he won the Deloitte Fast 50 for the fastest growing technology company in Ireland with one of his previous companies.

Nigel Walsh is a Partner in Deloitte Digital. Nigel was previously Head of insurance at Capgemini and has a background in Digital Transformation, end to end Technology Transformation and InsurTech. Nigel is a respected industry commentator and has been influential in the global InsurTech movement. He shares his insights and expertise from the industry by co-hosting the InsurTech Insider podcast.

Food and drinks will be provided after the discussion with an opportunity to network with other attendees.

Please note that there will be filming taking place throughout the event.
